Connie Taylor, PhD

Certified Imago Relationship Therapist

Connie has been a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist since 2007. She believes that we are always in relationship with ourselves, others in our world, and also with Nature. Her training is in Depth Psychology, a way of working that allows for exploration of the roots of the human experience. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2001 from Pacificia Graduate Institute. Since then, her areas of expertise have included women's issues, relationship problems such as those that occur with couples, communication in the workplace, siblings and parenting, as well as bereavement, bariatric evaluations, and illness and chronic pain management.

In 1981, Connie received her Master's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands. For twenty years, she worked with the traumatic brain injury population, with a specialty in mild traumatic brain injury. She believes that what is most important in life's experience is the exploration of the sense of self, or who we perceive ourselves to be.

Connie facilitates several women's groups and leads weekend retreats on subjects such as "The Feminine Story," "Healing the Mother-Daughter Relationship," and "Waking Up in the Second Half of Life."
