Ron Attrell is a psychotherapist in private practice in Redondo Beach. He began using Imago Relationship Therapy while working in Connecticut and continues this specialty after moving to California in 2007. He finds it very effective in helping couples improve communication, understand and shift patterns that are blocking intimacy, and find new pathways to healing hurts and disruptions in trust.​

 

He is also a specialist in grief, works with codependency, depression, anxiety, LGBTIQ issues, addictions, and integration of body, emotion, mind, and spirit using emotion discovery and regulation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.​

​

Graduate work was at Portland State University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. Bachelor degrees are from Seattle Pacific University and University of Minnesota. He is also Certified in Thanatology (CT) and certified in Primary Emotional Energy Recovery.
