In over 12 years of practice she has developed passion and expertise in assisting couples—non-married, married, newly engaged, or recently married—in transforming power struggles into a place of connection in an empathically attuned safe space. Monica is bi-lingual in Spanish and enjoys working with couples from diverse backgrounds.
Monica is also passionate about assisting high achieving and early career women in their journey toward finding balance with career, family and relationships. She enjoys supervising and mentoring therapists in training and currently supervises at the Institute for Girls' Development.
