Mary Kay is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in West Los Angeles, California with over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She is an expert at helping couples and parents rediscover the joy of being together, deepen communication, and resolve conflict. She has Imago advanced training in Characterological Growth and Singles Training, as well as certification in Encounter-centered Couples Therapy.

 

In addition to private sessions in West Los Angeles, she is also passionate about leading workshops for Engaged Couples. With years of experience in premarital counseling, she offers an Imago-based workshop entitled Start Right, Stay Connected.​ She also facilitates a transformational weekend couples retreat, Over the Bridge, for couples. 

 

Mary Kay is active in educating and training students and interns to become practicing therapists and has taught and supervised at many of the city’s graduate schools and training sites. She runs groups for therapists needing further training and consultation in Couples Therapy.
