Marcia is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in private practice with over 18 years experiencing working with individuals and couples. Marcia works with couples who want to bring joy and passion back into their relationship. She helps couples to learn to regulate their emotions so that they can communicate in a safer, deeper, more compassionate way. Marcia also works with singles and young couples to help them prepare for a committed relationship by helping them develop real relationship skills to create the life they want together.

 

Additionally, Marcia works with couples coping with specialized concerns:

• couples coping with childhood trauma

• couples in recovery from drugs & alcohol

• couples struggling with fertility issues

 

Marcia has had extensive training in EMDR and is trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), which conceptualizes the treatment of trauma (both individually and in relationships) through a somatic lens.
